When should I change my water filter?
To ensure optimum performance, water filters should be replaced every 10-12 months. Ensuring you change the filter on time will allow for a full warranty and make your system long-life.
Some of our systems actually have a pressure gauge installed within the product. This pressure gauge will let you know exactly when the time comes for your water filter to be changed.
Who can change my water filter?
Some water filtration systems require a plumber or specialist to do a house call and change your filter for you. Our Aqua Plus Filtration systems are simple enough to change that any homeowner can tackle the task themselves!
You don’t need any special tools or skills. You simply follow the step-by-step process to remove the expired filter and pop in the new one. Simple!
How do I change my water filter?
Each type of filter will have its own replacement instructions; however, the step-by-step basics are the same across the board.
You simply:
- Unscrew and remove the old filter.
- Flush the new filter with water for 5 minutes before installation.
- Screw in the new filter to fit the same bracket as the old one.
- Enjoy fresh, clean water for the next 10-12 months.
- Repeat once the new filter becomes the old filter.
How easy is that?! With our simple change filters, the maintenance process is sanitary, safe and simple enough for anyone to complete. There’s no reason why you can’t easily refresh your own supply of clean, filtered water as needed. Paying for a plumber to come out for a site visit is an expense of the past!
